Konsta Helenius liittyy Suomen MM-joukkueeseen

Kaksikymmentävuotias hyökkääjä Konsta Helenius matkustaa Sveitsiin vahvistamaan Suomen MM-joukkuetta. Hän korvaa loukkaantuneen Teuvo Teräväisen sen jälkeen, kun Buffalo Sabres putosi NHL:n pudotuspeleistä.

Suomen Jääkiekkoliitto tiedotti tiistaina, että Helenius lentää suoraan Buffalosta kohdatakseen joukkueen Zürichissä. Nuori hyökkääjä pelasi kuluneella kaudella AHL:ssä, jossa hän kirjautti 63 ottelussa 63 tehopistettä, minkä lisäksi hän pelasi yhdeksän runkosarjaottelua ja neljä pudotuspeliä Buffalo Sabresin riveissä.
