99 percent of snbt cheating targets medical programs

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology revealed that nearly 99 percent of cheating cases in this year's SNBT targeted medical study programs. A total of 38 cases were found and the perpetrators were blacklisted.

Minister Brian Yuliarto said serious attention is given to prevent repeated cheating practices. He stressed there is zero tolerance for fraud as it harms other participants and damages national character.

"Intinya ini sebagian besar mungkin hampir semuanya 99 persen itu adalah Prodi Kedokteran," said Minister Brian Yuliarto in Jakarta on Monday.

SNPMB chair Eduart Wolok added that last year's data showed most perpetrators used proxies to enter medical programs. For SNBT 2026, medical applicants were scheduled on the first and second exam days to reduce cheating opportunities.
