Agusan del Sur readies for 2026 Palarong Pambansa with free rides and tours

Agusan del Sur will host the 66th Palarong Pambansa from May 24 to 31, offering free transportation and tours for participants and spectators across multiple venues.

The province has prepared venues in Prosperidad, Bayugan, Bunawan, Esperanza, Rosario, San Francisco, and Talacogon. Sports such as athletics, basketball, swimming, and gymnastics will take place at facilities including the Datu Lipus Makapandong Gov. Democrito O. Plaza Sports Complex.

Delegates and spectators can use free e-buses and tricycles to travel between the 36 venues. Free tours to 13 sites in Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur are available from May 17 to 22 and May 27 to June 1.

An Ethno Village will showcase local history, native delicacies, and cultural displays, with rest areas provided for athletes. The event opens on May 24 and closes on May 31.
