AMD to extend FSR 4.1 upscaling to older Radeon GPUs

AMD has announced plans to bring its FSR 4.1 graphics upscaling technology to older Radeon graphics cards starting this July. The rollout begins with RDNA 3 and 3.5 based GPUs before expanding further in 2027.

AMD senior vice president Jack Huynh revealed the update in a video presentation. FSR 4.1 will first reach RDNA 3 GPUs such as the Radeon RX 7000 series along with integrated options like the Radeon 890M. Support for more than 300 games is promised at launch through a driver update.
