Bank burglary in Säter yields little of value

Early Sunday morning someone smashed a window at a bank in Säter. Police are now examining the scene after the break-in.

A person in the area heard breaking glass and alerted the police. Two people were seen running from the scene. Police confirm someone entered the bank premises.

The case is classified as theft by burglary. No suspects have been identified. It remains unclear whether anything was stolen.

Police spokesperson Mats Öhman says bank premises are hard to steal valuables from. The site has been cordoned off for technical examination.
