Police are investigating a villa burglary in Skillingaryd on Tuesday morning after a neighbor raised the alarm.
A neighbor noticed that a window had been lifted out of its frame. Police have seen the same method used in several previous burglaries.
Lina Tryggvesson, coordinator at the Police in Värnamo, confirmed that officers were on site to examine the crime scene. The house owner was not at home when the break-in was discovered.
The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. Police will now investigate whether it is connected to other similar cases in recent weeks.
