Monitoring teams from the Ethiopian National Election Board reported that conditions are conducive for holding elections in most areas of the country.
The teams submitted a detailed report on the security situation in areas where the seventh general election will take place. The board has held discussions with regions, city administrations, political parties and other stakeholders.
Board chair Melatwork Hailu said the platform aims to set next directions based on the report and discuss stakeholder roles. Some places still require attention, the teams noted.
