Ethiopian media outlets agree to collaborate on seventh general election

More than 25 Ethiopian media outlets met in Addis Ababa and agreed to work together to strengthen democratic practices and achieve the seventh general election.

According to information from the Government Communication Service, participants at the forum examined the media sector's role in shaping, guiding, expanding and consolidating democratic practices.

During the discussion the media outlets consulted on how to work collaboratively on national interests. They agreed to coordinate input and manpower to work together.

The Government Communication Service said this historic opportunity can be used to build the country on a strong foundation.
