Actress Isis Valverde reached a R$30,000 agreement with her former cook in a labor case at the Rio de Janeiro labor court. The sum was paid in six installments and closed the suit without a conviction.
The settlement was reached on 25 November 2025 at the 23rd Labor Court of Rio de Janeiro. Former employee Márcia Raimunda alleged 12-hour workdays and multiple duties from 2014 to 2021, initially seeking around R$400,000.
Actress Isis Valverde’s defense, led by lawyer Ricardo Brajterman, stated that Isis gave the worker a house and paid for a gastronomy course. Brajterman said the long-shift claims were implausible because the actress spent extended periods outside Rio de Janeiro.
The case ended without a court ruling on the accusations. Márcia did not respond to requests for comment by the time of publication.
