Kemenkes finds hospital negligence in Doctor Icha case

The Ministry of Health found that RS Leona Kefamenanu was negligent in protecting health workers in the intimidation case involving Dr. Eliza Princila Utami alias Doctor Icha.

The Kemenkes investigation concluded that Doctor Icha's actions in treating the snakebite patient followed proper procedures. A joint team involving Kemendagri, IDI, and KKI handed over the investigation results to police without publishing details.

Director General of Health Azhar Jaya stated that hospital management failed to provide protection in the ER which is prone to conflict. He emphasized the need for security personnel in critical areas.

Polda NTT has formed a Joint Investigation Team to handle the alleged verbal intimidation by three TTU DPRD members. Kemenkes referred the case to police for criminal proceedings.
