Örebro Hockey has presented two new acquisitions over the past two days while securing several contracts for the 2026/27 SHL season. New additions include goaltender Filip Larsson and defensemen Robin Salo and Erik Norén. The team continues to fill roster spots amid departures.
Örebro Hockey moved quickly this weekend, announcing the signings of defenseman Robin Salo to a contract through 2026/28 and 24-year-old Erik Norén, who returns to his hometown club after stints with Kalmar and Linköping. According to Expressen, the club also added forward Josh Dickinson from Rögle and forward Lucas Stockselius from Almtuna. These moves come as the team replaces departing goaltender Jhonas Enroth with Filip Larsson on a deal through 2027/28, alongside Jonas Arntzen through 2028/29. David Quenneville has reportedly extended through 2027/28, per NA and Aftonbladet, though not yet official. Several forwards remain from last season, including Patrik Karlkvist, Kalle Kossila, and Teemu Turunen, with hopes for continued production. The club has named Martin Filander as the new head coach, succeeding Niklas Eriksson. One top forward spot remains open. Players leaving include Patrik Puistola to Frölunda, per Expressen, along with Noah Steen to NHL/AHL, Peetro Seppälä to Lukko, and others like Svante Sjödin to Mora and Herman Liv to HV71.
