The Philippines will allow Taiwan passport holders to enter the country without a visa for stays of up to 14 days, effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
The Manila Economic and Cultural Office announced the measure on June 30, 2026. It aims to match Taiwan’s existing visa-free policy for Philippine passport holders.
“The Manila Economic and Cultural Office is pleased to announce that, in line with the Philippine government’s directive to observe reciprocity in the visa-free privileges granted to Philippine passport holders traveling to Taiwan, Taiwan passport holders may enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding fourteen (14) days,” the office stated.
The privilege cannot be extended or changed to another visa type. Travelers planning longer stays must obtain a visa in advance.
