Fikirini Jacobs arrived at the DCI headquarters in Nairobi on Thursday to record a statement about the death of activist Cecil Ouma.
Youth Affairs Principal Secretary Fikirini Jacobs said he responded to a police invitation and that seven people including two of his bodyguards have already been questioned.
Ouma was shot on July 1 after a youth empowerment meeting in Kariokor. Witness reports indicate a dispute arose over a cash token.
Police have seized two firearms for forensic examination. The family and Kariokor residents await post-mortem results.
