Un homme de 88 ans a été déclaré mort d'une insuffisance respiratoire à l'hôpital Santa Casa de Presidente Bernardes, mais il a montré des signes vitaux alors qu'il était préparé dans une entreprise de pompes funèbres à l'intérieur de l'État de São Paulo.

L'homme, résident d'Emilianópolis, a été traité samedi après-midi, le 16 mai, à l'hôpital Santa Casa de Presidente Bernardes. Le médecin de garde a prononcé son décès et le corps a été envoyé au funérarium.

Le personnel a remarqué que l'homme âgé respirait et bougeait lors des préparatifs. Ils ont appelé les services médicaux d'urgence, qui l'ont transféré dans un hôpital où il reste hospitalisé dans un état stable.

La police civile a enregistré l'affaire comme non-assistance à personne en danger et mène l'enquête via le commissariat de Presidente Bernardes. Santa Casa a déclaré qu'elle ne ferait aucun commentaire avant la conclusion de l'enquête.
