'From the club's side, we have presented one of the most comprehensive and competitive contract proposals in our history, which reflects how highly we value the player in question.' The talks, intended to be financed by external capital, could not be finalized, AIK confirmed. Earlier that day, the club announced signings of defensemen Samuel Jonsson and Olli Vainio to bolster its lineup ahead of next season. If no deal is reached elsewhere, his existing contract with LHC continues, sportchef Broc Little told Corren. Little declined to comment on AIK rumors, confirming only the deadline.
