AL pitchers allowed just three hits and struck out 15 batters. The performance marked the AL's 11th win in the last 13 All-Star Games. Bellinger, playing in his first Midsummer Classic since 2019, became the fourth Yankee to win the Ted Williams Award.
The game featured several tributes to baseball's history and America's 250th anniversary. A record seven Cuban-born players appeared, and artifacts including the lineup card and Bellinger's bat were donated to the Hall of Fame.
