Le gouvernement enquête sur 37 agences pour des irrégularités liées aux radars

Le gouvernement national a ouvert une enquête administrative contre 37 agences de la circulation pour des défaillances potentielles des systèmes de radars. Les autorités ont constaté des manquements aux exigences techniques fixées par la loi.

La Surintendance des transports et le ministère des Transports ont découvert que plusieurs agences avaient débuté leurs opérations sans le certificat de performance de l'Institut national de métrologie. Douze ont commencé sans cette exigence, sept ont utilisé des certificats délivrés à des tiers et 18 l'ont obtenu après le début des opérations. Les villes concernées incluent Medellín, Cali, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cartagena et Bucaramanga. Les agences ont émis plus de 7,5 millions de contraventions, dont 1,58 million ont déjà été réglées pour un montant supérieur à 1 050 milliards de pesos. La ministre des Transports, Mafe Rojas, a déclaré que les radars ne peuvent pas être utilisés comme un mécanisme de collecte illégal. Le surintendant Alfredo Piñeros a ajouté qu'aucune caméra ne peut fonctionner sans répondre aux exigences techniques et légales. Plus de 5,8 millions de contraventions impayées seront annulées. Les entités sous enquête pourraient faire face à des sanctions dépassant 2 100 milliards de pesos.
