La résidence du commissaire du comté de Homa Bay élevée au rang de State Lodge

Le secrétaire de cabinet à l'Intérieur, Kipchumba Murkomen, a déclaré la résidence du commissaire du comté de Homa Bay comme étant un State Lodge, avec effet au 15 mai. Cette décision fait suite à la construction de l'installation un an plus tôt dans la ville de Homa Bay.

Le secrétaire de cabinet à l'Intérieur, Kipchumba Murkomen, a déclaré la résidence du commissaire du comté de Homa Bay comme étant un State Lodge dans un avis officiel daté du 12 mai. Le changement est entré en vigueur le 15 mai.

"Il est notifié, pour l'information générale du public, que le secrétaire de cabinet à l'Intérieur et à l'Administration nationale déclare la résidence du commissaire du comté de Homa Bay comme étant un State Lodge", a déclaré Murkomen.

L'installation a été construite avant les célébrations du Madaraka Day 2025 et a accueilli le président William Ruto lors de l'événement. Elle servait jusqu'à présent de résidence officielle au commissaire du comté.

La gestion et la sécurité de la propriété sont désormais transférées au bureau du contrôleur de la State House. Le commissaire du comté doit quitter les lieux. Le président Ruto dispose désormais de trois State Lodges dans la région de Nyanza.
