Residenz des Bezirkskommissars von Homa Bay zur State Lodge aufgewertet

Innenminister Kipchumba Murkomen hat die Residenz des Bezirkskommissars von Homa Bay mit Wirkung zum 15. Mai zur State Lodge erklärt. Dieser Schritt folgt auf den Bau der Anlage vor einem Jahr in Homa Bay Town.

Innenminister Kipchumba Murkomen erklärte die Residenz des Bezirkskommissars von Homa Bay in einer Bekanntmachung im Amtsblatt vom 12. Mai zur State Lodge. Die Änderung trat am 15. Mai in Kraft.

"Hiermit wird zur allgemeinen Information der Öffentlichkeit bekannt gegeben, dass der Minister für Inneres und Nationale Verwaltung die Residenz des Bezirkskommissars von Homa Bay zur State Lodge erklärt", erklärte Murkomen.

Die Einrichtung wurde im Vorfeld der Madaraka-Day-Feierlichkeiten 2025 erbaut und beherbergte während der Veranstaltung Präsident William Ruto. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt diente sie als offizielle Residenz des Bezirkskommissars.

Die Verwaltung und Sicherheit des Anwesens gehen nun in die Zuständigkeit des Büros des State House Comptroller über. Der Bezirkskommissar muss die Räumlichkeiten räumen. Präsident Ruto verfügt damit nun über drei State Lodges in der Region Nyanza.
