أعلن وزير الداخلية كيبتشومبا موركومين عن تحويل مقر إقامة مفوض مقاطعة هوما باي إلى نزل رئاسي اعتبارًا من 15 مايو. وتأتي هذه الخطوة بعد عام من بناء المنشأة في مدينة هوما باي.

أعلن وزير الداخلية والإدارة الوطنية كيبتشومبا موركومين عن تحويل مقر إقامة مفوض مقاطعة هوما باي إلى نزل رئاسي في إشعار بالجريدة الرسمية بتاريخ 12 مايو، حيث دخل التغيير حيز التنفيذ في 15 مايو. وجاء في بيان موركومين: "يُخطر الجمهور العام بأن وزير الداخلية والإدارة الوطنية يعلن تحويل مقر إقامة مفوض مقاطعة هوما باي إلى نزل رئاسي". وقد تم بناء المنشأة قبل احتفالات يوم ماداراكا لعام 2025، حيث استضافت الرئيس ويليام روتو خلال الحدث، وظلت حتى الآن بمثابة المقر الرسمي لمفوض المقاطعة. وتنتقل إدارة العقار وتأمينه الآن إلى مكتب مراقب البيت الرئاسي، مما يتطلب من مفوض المقاطعة إخلاء المبنى. وبذلك، أصبح لدى الرئيس روتو الآن ثلاثة نزل رئاسية في منطقة نيانزا.
