Le ministre de la Justice salue les efforts de Neiva concernant les centres de détention temporaires

Le ministre de la Justice, Jorge Iván Cuervo, s'est rendu à Neiva pour souligner les améliorations apportées aux infrastructures destinées aux personnes privées de liberté.

Lors d'une réunion sur la sécurité entre les départements de Huila et de Tolima, le ministre Jorge Iván Cuervo a visité l'Unité permanente de justice et le Centre de détention temporaire de Neiva.

Accompagné du maire par intérim Raúl Mosquera et du secrétaire au gouvernement José Ferney Ducuara, le responsable a examiné les travaux réalisés avec le soutien du maire Germán Casagua Bonilla.

Cuervo a noté que le centre peut accueillir environ 300 personnes dans des conditions dignes et a salué l'effort municipal malgré les contraintes budgétaires.

Le ministre a souligné la nécessité d'une coordination entre le gouvernement national et les entités locales pour traiter les questions de détention et de sécurité.
