Kiai Ashari arrêté à Wonogiri après avoir ignoré des convocations de police

La police a arrêté Kiai Ashari, responsable du pensionnat islamique Pondok Pesantren Ndolo Kusumo dans le district de Pati, le jeudi 7 mai 2026 au matin, à Purwantoro, Wonogiri. Il est accusé d'avoir agressé sexuellement des dizaines de santriwati en exploitant la doctrine religieuse.

Ashari a été interpellé par l'équipe Satreskrim de la police de Pati après avoir pris la fuite et omis de répondre aux convocations pour interrogatoire. Il a été immédiatement conduit au commissariat de Pati pour être entendu.

Le chef de la police de Pati, le commissaire principal Jaka Wahyudi, a déclaré que le suspect utilisait la doctrine selon laquelle les élèves doivent obéir aux enseignants pour que le savoir soit assimilé. Les actes auraient été commis à 10 reprises dans différents lieux sous le prétexte de demander des massages.

Le directeur des enquêtes criminelles de la police de Java central, Kombes Anwar Nasir, a confirmé l'arrestation. La police poursuit ses investigations afin d'identifier d'éventuelles victimes supplémentaires et de nouveaux éléments dans cette affaire.
