La faculté de droit rejette la violence après les protestations contre la députée Rodríguez

La faculté de droit de l'Université du Chili a condamné les incidents survenus le vendredi 29 mai lors d'un événement auquel participait la députée Javiera Rodríguez.

La parlementaire républicaine a dénoncé avoir subi des cris, des bousculades et des crachats de la part d'un groupe d'étudiants à la fin de la rencontre intitulée « Experiencias Universitarias: Una Mirada del Liderazgo de Derecha ».

La faculté a indiqué que la salle avait été autorisée à la demande d'un sénateur étudiant et que la sécurité de Rodríguez avait été assurée lors de son arrivée, de son intervention et de son départ. La réunion a duré environ une heure et demie.

Dans une déclaration signée par le directeur de l'école, Miguel González Lemus, l'unité académique a rejeté catégoriquement « la violence et les actes de force en tant qu'instruments d'action politique ». Elle a ajouté que les comportements inappropriés feraient l'objet d'une enquête.

Rodríguez avait précédemment signalé des menaces de mort à la Brigade de lutte contre la cybercriminalité de la Police d'investigation.
