Enquête sur l'occupation du rectorat de l'USP

La police civile de São Paulo a ouvert une enquête sur l'occupation du rectorat de l'Université de São Paulo par des étudiants en grève. L'action a duré trois jours la semaine dernière et s'est terminée par une opération de la police militaire.

L'enquête a été ouverte au 93e district de police. Les étudiants ont occupé le bâtiment à partir du jeudi 7, à la suite de manifestations devant le rectorat. L'évacuation a eu lieu aux premières heures du dimanche 11, impliquant l'usage de gaz lacrymogène et un corridor de policiers munis de matraques.

Le secrétariat à la Sécurité publique a qualifié l'affaire de dégradation de biens publics, un délit prévu à l'article 163 du Code pénal. Les objets personnels saisis, tels que des ordinateurs portables et des téléphones portables, ont été envoyés pour expertise médico-légale. Le bureau a déclaré qu'il demanderait l'accès aux relevés téléphoniques afin d'identifier les personnes impliquées dans d'éventuels délits.

L'USP a déclaré ne pas avoir été informée à l'avance de l'opération et a exprimé ses regrets face à la violence. Les étudiants ont fait état d'au moins cinq blessés, tandis que le SSP nie toute blessure et affirme qu'il enquêtera sur tout excès. Le gouverneur Tarcísio de Freitas a soutenu l'action de la police.
