À 81 ans, Liliana Aufiero quitte la présidence exécutive de Lupo. Carlos Alberto Mazzeu prendra ses fonctions à partir du 1er juin.

Petite-fille du fondateur de Lupo, Liliana Aufiero occupait la présidence de l'entreprise depuis 1993. Elle occupe désormais un nouveau rôle non exécutif en tant que présidente du Grupo Lupo, créé pour elle, et demeure membre du conseil d'administration. Carlos Alberto Mazzeu, 62 ans, vice-président et directeur des relations avec les investisseurs, sera le premier PDG n'appartenant pas à la famille dans l'histoire du fabricant de chaussettes et de sous-vêtements, fondé en 1921. Le conseil d'administration a approuvé ce changement lundi. M. Mazzeu a déclaré que la succession avait été planifiée à l'avance afin d'assurer la continuité. Lupo a enregistré un chiffre d'affaires de 1,85 milliard de réaux en 2025 et poursuit ses activités au Brésil et au Paraguay.
