Liliana Aufiero tritt nach Jahrzehnten als Lupo-CEO zurück

Liliana Aufiero (81) gibt den Vorstandsvorsitz von Lupo ab. Carlos Alberto Mazzeu übernimmt die Rolle ab dem 1. Juni.

Liliana Aufiero, Enkelin des Lupo-Gründers, leitete das Unternehmen seit 1993. Sie übernimmt nun eine neue nicht-exekutive Funktion als Präsidentin der für sie geschaffenen Grupo Lupo und bleibt Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats.

Carlos Alberto Mazzeu (62), derzeit Vizepräsident und Leiter der Investor Relations, wird der erste familienfremde CEO in der Geschichte des 1921 gegründeten Herstellers von Socken und Unterwäsche. Der Verwaltungsrat stimmte dem Wechsel am Montag zu.

Mazzeu erklärte, die Nachfolge sei langfristig geplant gewesen, um Kontinuität zu gewährleisten. Lupo erzielte 2025 einen Umsatz von 1,85 Milliarden R$ und unterhält Betriebe in Brasilien und Paraguay.
