Un juge fédéral a statué le 28 mai que Precious Felder Gates doit rembourser à Nelly 67 586 $ de frais juridiques engagés pour se défendre contre une poursuite déposée par l'ancien membre des St. Lunatics, Ali Jones. L'affaire, introduite en 2024, affirmait que Nelly avait privé ses camarades de groupe de crédits et de redevances pour l'album Country Grammar, mais elle a été abandonnée en avril 2025 après que les avocats de Nelly ont démontré qu'elle ne respectait pas le délai de prescription de trois ans prévu par la loi sur le droit d'auteur.
