Petrogulf augmente la production du golfe de Suez à 26 600 barils par jour

Petrogulf, une filiale de la South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company, a porté la production de ses gisements du golfe de Suez à environ 26 600 barils par jour, contre environ 17 000 barils par jour lors de l'exercice 2025/2026, atteignant ainsi son niveau le plus élevé depuis sa création en 1982.

Petrogulf a réalisé une augmentation de production de près de 10 000 barils par jour en seulement cinq mois grâce à un plan de travail accéléré et efficace.

Ce plan comprenait le forage d'un nouveau puits de production, « North Geisum North-16 », qui a contribué à hauteur d'environ 4 000 barils par jour à lui seul. Un programme de maintenance intensive des puits existants dans le golfe de Suez a permis d'ajouter 6 750 barils par jour supplémentaires.

Le programme a mobilisé deux appareils de forage, démontrant une meilleure efficacité opérationnelle et une mise en œuvre plus rapide.

Petrogulf constitue un modèle réussi de partenariat d'investissement entre le secteur pétrolier égyptien — représenté par la South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company et l'Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation — et des partenaires privés, notamment l'égyptien Pico et le koweïtien Kufpec.
