Petrogulf aumenta la produzione nel Golfo di Suez a 26.600 barili al giorno

Petrogulf, una controllata della South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company, ha aumentato la produzione dai suoi giacimenti nel Golfo di Suez a circa 26.600 barili al giorno, rispetto ai circa 17.000 barili al giorno dell'anno fiscale 2025/2026: si tratta del livello di produzione più alto dalla sua fondazione nel 1982.

Petrogulf ha ottenuto un incremento produttivo di quasi 10.000 barili al giorno in soli cinque mesi grazie a un piano di lavoro accelerato ed efficace. Il piano ha previsto la perforazione di un nuovo pozzo di produzione, "North Geisum North-16", che ha contribuito da solo con circa 4.000 barili al giorno. Un intenso programma di manutenzione per i pozzi esistenti nel Golfo di Suez ha aggiunto ulteriori 6.750 barili al giorno. Il programma ha utilizzato due impianti di perforazione, dimostrando una migliore efficienza operativa e una più rapida implementazione. Petrogulf rappresenta un modello di successo di partnership di investimento tra il settore petrolifero egiziano – rappresentato dalla South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company e dalla Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation – e partner privati, tra cui l'egiziana Pico e la kuwaitiana Kufpec.

GeoPark reported an average annual production of 28,233 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2025, exceeding its guidance range of 26,000 to 28,000 boepd.
