Les étudiants de la RISD présentent des collections automne 2026 éclectiques

La Rhode Island School of Design a dévoilé les collections de prêt-à-porter automne 2026 de 12 étudiants en fin de cursus. Les créations mettaient en lumière des thèmes personnels grâce à une utilisation innovante de matériaux du quotidien et d'objets trouvés.

Gwen Van Den Eijnde, responsable du design vestimentaire à la RISD, a décrit le travail des étudiants comme éclectique et unifié par une attention particulière portée à l'artisanat et aux processus manuels. Plusieurs collections ont abordé des thèmes liés à l'identité, à l'histoire et à la résistance, notamment les pièces d'Azaria Van Der Stok-Smallwood et de Paige Sias, qui intégraient des coquilles d'huîtres, des roseaux, des sacs à sucre et des chutes de robes de mariée.
