La Sebi émet une demande d'explications à six investisseurs institutionnels étrangers du Capital Group

Le régulateur boursier indien a envoyé une demande d'explications à six investisseurs institutionnels étrangers (FPI) du Capital Group concernant des violations présumées de la confidentialité des transactions. Cette mesure fait suite à des allégations selon lesquelles des détails sensibles sur des ordres auraient été partagés de manière inappropriée, facilitant des activités de front-running.

La Sebi a émis cet avis pour des manquements présumés dans la protection des informations commerciales. Selon des rapports, deux traders auraient transmis des détails sensibles sur des ordres à Rohit Salgaocar, basé à Singapour. Ce dernier aurait ensuite transmis ces informations à l'opérateur de marché Ketan Parekh, permettant à un réseau de front-running de réaliser des gains illicites.
