La Cour suprême ordonne à la CE de vérifier les suppressions d'électeurs SIR au Bengale-Occidental

La Cour suprême, le 10 mars 2026, a examiné une requête contestant les suppressions d'électeurs lors de la Révision intensive spéciale (SIR) des listes électorales du Bengale-Occidental et a ordonné à la Commission électorale d'améliorer le soutien logistique pour les réclamations et objections. Cela fait suite à la récente pression des députés TMC pour un débat parlementaire sur la question et aux manifestations en cours menées par la Première ministre Mamata Banerjee au sujet du processus, qui a radié des millions de noms.
