The main venue is Gifu Park, situated near the site where 16th-century warlord Oda Nobunaga resided after capturing Gifu Castle. At Shoboji Temple, another location, the city's traditional lanterns will be on display; the temple is renowned for its large Buddha statue.

Running from Saturday through February 1, the evening event aims to showcase Gifu's heritage under lights. Preview attendees noted the striking visuals, with one saying it created a "beautiful scene."

This initiative blends historical context with modern projection techniques, drawing visitors to explore the area's cultural roots in winter evenings. It promotes local crafts and boosts tourism in the region.
