Celebrity chefs to host events at Deer Valley's St. Regis

Geoffrey Zakarian and Jeff Mauro, known from television cooking shows, will appear at the St. Regis Deer Valley resort for a series of culinary events from March 18 to 21, 2026. The lineup includes dinners, a cooking demonstration, and takeover menus at various on-site venues. Tickets are available online through the resort's dining website.

The events at St. Regis Deer Valley begin on Wednesday, March 18, with a kickoff party in the Vintage Room from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Chefs Zakarian, Mauro, and resort executive chef Matthew Fradera will collaborate on après-ski cuisine. The venue features modern décor, an outdoor deck, and entertainment including a saxophone-playing DJ. Tables or individual tickets cost $100.

On Thursday, March 19, at 5:30 p.m., a five-course tasting dinner takes place at the resort's signature restaurant, RIME. It involves Zakarian, Mauro, Fradera, chef de cuisine Pablo Matos, and pastry chef Marcelo Ferrinha. Chappellet Vineyards winemaker Ry Richards provides pairings, with music from String FX. Pricing is $485 per person, including wines, or $200 for children aged 12 and under.

Friday, March 20, starts with an après-ski culinary demonstration and Q&A session from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., where Zakarian and Mauro share techniques and interact with guests. Reservations, at $75 per person, include light bites and an adult cocktail.

That evening at 6:00 p.m., Zakarian oversees a takeover at La Stellina, adding his menu items to Italian-inspired dishes using local produce. Wines from Tolaini Estate in Chianti Classico, selected by Alex Banville, complement the à la carte offerings.

The series concludes on Saturday, March 21, from 5:00 p.m. until closing, with Mauro leading a takeover at RIME. Banville, owner of Banville Wine Merchants, pairs wines alongside brand ambassador Bertrand Blanchez for French selections. This event is also à la carte.
