Dead by Daylight is launching another crossover with the Attack on Titan anime, paired with the return of its 2v8 game mode. The event runs from April 28 to May 19. New and returning cosmetics, along with mode tweaks, accompany the update.
The 2v8 mode doubles the player count for both killers and survivors, leading to chaotic matches filled with action on fuller maps. This fan-favorite twist returns as part of the upcoming event, available from April 28 through May 19, as first reported by Eurogamer. Developers have added killer-specific adjustments, including buffs for the Deathslinger and nerfs for the Oni, to improve balance and enjoyment. New Attack on Titan-themed quests will also launch alongside the mode. The crossover revives cosmetics from the original 2022 Attack on Titan collaboration. Players can obtain a legendary towering titan costume for the Trapper, the Cleaning Levi outfit for Jake Park, Mikasa's dark uniform for Yui Kimura, and Sasha's uniform for Thalita Lyre. These very rare items join returning options in the store. Additional outfits include the Queen’s Ball Attire for survivors Renato Lyra, Adam Francis, Mikaela Reid, and Haddie Kaur, plus the Heart of Freedom Outfit for Feng Min and Meg Thomas. The distinctive Attack on Titan lobby theme is also coming back. This package positions the event as a substantial update for fans.
