Kapolri General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conducted direct inspections at Terminal Pulo Gebang and Stasiun Pasar Senen on Tuesday (23/12/2025) to ensure security and services for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 mudik flow. He emphasized passenger safety as the top priority, including health checks for bus drivers. Meanwhile, airport authorities and police deployed personnel for smooth travel at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

On Tuesday (23/12/2025), Kapolri General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected Terminal Terpadu Pulo Gebang in Cakung, East Jakarta, to check security for bus mudik travel. He urged bus drivers to prioritize passenger safety, avoid driving if not in prime condition, adhere to speed limits, and prepare backup drivers.

"Kecepatannya tolong dijaga sesuai aturan yang ada, disiapkan juga pengemudi pengganti sehingga saat lelah bisa saling bergantian, dan paling utama jaga keselamatan penumpang. Jangan paksakan apabila kondisi kesehatan tidak memungkinkan untuk membawa penumpang. Karena ini menyangkut masalah keselamatan jiwa di jalan raya," said Sigit at the site.

Sigit examined processes from prospective passengers to drivers boarding buses, including urine checks to ensure drivers are drug-free. The terminal provides health facilities and a children's playground. Vehicle ramp checks are conducted, and SOPs are generally running well. Terminal Pulo Gebang serves the most routes to Sumatra, Central Java, East Java, and Bali, in line with President Prabowo Subianto's directives.

That afternoon, around 13:30 WIB, Sigit arrived at Stasiun Pasar Senen, greeted by Forkopimda DKI Jakarta, Polri leaders, PT Kereta Api Indonesia management, and Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi. He inspected waiting areas, train cars, greeted passengers, and distributed goodie bags. Facilities include children's play areas, lactation rooms, health services, and on-time departures.

"Di stasiun ini tersedia fasilitas bermain anak, ruang laktasi, layanan kesehatan, serta ketepatan waktu keberangkatan, yang menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi masyarakat," Sigit stated. The station handles 39 train trips per day with 23,964 seats; on 22/12/2025, 15,797 departing passengers (66% occupancy) and 13,761 arrivals (57%). Sigit presented symbolic gifts to security personnel.

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Erick Frendriz conducted health and urine tests for bus drivers at Terminal Tanjung Priok, in collaboration with BNN and related agencies. No drivers tested positive for drugs or had health issues so far. Checks will continue daily during Operasi Lilin Nataru.

At Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Metro Jaya Police Chief Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri inspected security with 224 combined personnel (144 Polri, 30 TNI, 50 AVSEC) at Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Passenger movement from 19-23/12/2025 reached 411,918 domestic and 174,341 international, with 80% on-time flights. Free inter-terminal services are provided for mothers, children, elderly, and urgent passengers.

PT Angkasa Pura recorded 1.19 million passengers and 7,825 flights from 15/12 to 23/12/2025, peaking on 21/12 (174,684 passengers). Projected peak on 28/12: 181,888 passengers via 1,141 flights. All efforts ensure safe and comfortable Nataru mudik.
