LVMH annuncia la vendita di Marc Jacobs a WHP Global

Il colosso del lusso LVMH ha raggiunto un accordo per la vendita del marchio Marc Jacobs a WHP Global. Il completamento dell'operazione è previsto entro la fine dell'anno, previa approvazione delle autorità competenti.

LVMH e WHP Global hanno annunciato giovedì un accordo definitivo per l'acquisizione di Marc Jacobs da parte della società di investimento americana. L'importo della transazione non è stato reso noto.

Il marchio, acquisito da LVMH nel 1997, manterrà il suo omonimo creatore Marc Jacobs nel ruolo di direttore creativo una volta perfezionata la vendita.

WHP Global possiede già i marchi rag&bone, G-Star e Vera Wang. Il completamento dell'operazione è previsto entro la fine dell'anno, subordinatamente alle necessarie approvazioni normative.
