Ryan Greenwood, 36, of Nebraska was sentenced last Friday to 65 to 80 years in prison for intentional child abuse resulting in the death of his four-month-old daughter.
Greenwood was found guilty in March after a five-day trial. Court documents show he admitted to playing rough with the infant, which caused her to cry uncontrollably. The child was put to bed but failed to wake the next morning and was later pronounced dead from a traumatic brain injury consistent with shaken baby syndrome.
