L'Alianza Mexicana de Organización de Transportistas (AMOTAC) ha sospeso lo sciopero nazionale previsto per il 24 giugno 2026, dopo aver raggiunto un accordo con la Secretaría de Gobernación.

La Secretaría de Gobernación ha riferito che gli autotrasportatori si sono impegnati a non effettuare blocchi stradali il 24 giugno. L'accordo è stato raggiunto durante una riunione tenutasi il 23 giugno con l'Alianza Mexicana de Organización de Transportistas A.C.

Le richieste principali includono la sicurezza autostradale e la fine delle estorsioni. Le autorità hanno ricordato di aver tenuto oltre 300 incontri precedenti con il settore per affrontare tali questioni.

L'Asociación Nacional de Transportistas (ANTAC) non ha aderito alle mobilitazioni e ha criticato l'operato dell'AMOTAC. Il governo federale ha annunciato la creazione di un centro C5 specializzato per il monitoraggio delle autostrade.
