BYD demonstrates VtoL feature on M6 electric vehicle in Depok

PT BYD Motor Indonesia showcased the Vehicle-to-Load capability on its M6 electric vehicle to support a social activity at an elementary school in Depok. The feature supplied power for free milk distribution to students as part of the Small Steps for Tomorrow program.

The activity took place at an elementary school in Depok, West Java. The VtoL technology allowed the vehicle to supply electrical power to external devices during the event.

President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Eagle Zhao stated that technological development should go hand in hand with broader contributions to society. He emphasized the role of the younger generation in creating future change.

The Small Steps for Tomorrow program focuses on educational support by distributing school supplies to students. BYD also used the occasion to introduce the benefits of electric vehicles in daily life.
