The meeting also addressed the government's continued efforts to implement the sustainable development strategy, including Egypt Vision 2030, to accelerate growth rates and create sustainable employment opportunities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of sustained coordination between the CBE and the Ministry of Planning to maintain a careful balance between monetary stability and economic expansion. They stressed that effective policy alignment is essential for supporting development projects, stimulating investment, creating durable jobs, and ultimately achieving balanced and sustainable economic growth.
The meeting was attended by Rami Aboul Naga and Tarek El-Khouly, deputy governors of the CBE. Representing the Ministry of Planning were Ahmed Ashour, Head of the National Accounts Unit; Heba Youssef, Director of the Country Programme Unit; and Mohamed El-Gali, Media Adviser.
