ジャズ・R&BスーパーグループのDinner Partyが、ニューアルバム『Watchu Bringing?』のリリースを発表した。本作は8月7日にEmpireから発売予定で、7月10日には先行シングルの公開が予定されている。
Dinner Partyは、テラス・マーティン、ロバート・グラスパー、カマシ・ワシントン、そしてプロデューサーのナインス・ワンダーで構成されている。グループは本作を、初の公式フルアルバムであると説明している。
本作は、2020年のセルフタイトル・デビューEPと2023年の『Enigmatic Society』に続く作品となる。『Watchu Bringing?』のアートワークは、過去のDinner Party作品にも携わったカマシ・ワシントンの妹、アマニ・ワシントンが手掛けた。
アルバムには全9曲が収録されており、「Stop Being Late」で幕を開け、先行シングル「If It Ain’t Broke (Love Wins)」などが含まれている。同シングルは7月10日にプレミア公開される予定だ。
