Ferrari seeks new importer in Colombia after ending relationship

Ferrari has ended its relationship with its representative in Colombia and is seeking a new importer to continue operations in the country. The Italian brand will maintain its presence but paused new vehicle sales during the transition. Customers who paid advances face uncertainty over deliveries and refunds.

The Italian company ended its link with Autos Italianos de Colombia and Automóviles Italianos de Panamá after more than a decade. The shareholding change led to a new administration reviewing the financial and operational situation due to prior inconsistencies.

Ferrari opened a process to designate a new importer. Meanwhile, new vehicle sales and official representation remain paused. No information has been released on who the new representative will be or when the process will conclude.

Some customers paid advances for vehicles worth around 2,000 million pesos but have not yet received the cars or refunds. Pending procedures must be channeled directly with Ferrari or the future importer. The brand assured that it will not leave the Colombian market.
