중국이 방위산업전시회에서 로봇 개와 인공지능(AI) 기반의 수중 기뢰 제거 시스템을 포함한 첨단 군사 기술을 선보였다.
4월 중순 열린 '2026 청두 방위기술산업전시회'에서는 잠수함 어뢰 발사관에서 발사할 수 있도록 설계된 자율주행 수중 로봇이 공개됐다. 이 로봇은 고정밀 심해 탐사와 해저 지형 매핑을 수행하며, 대형 모델의 경우 수심 3,000미터까지 도달할 수 있다. 관영 CCTV에 따르면 이 로봇에는 수중 표적을 탐지 및 무력화하는 모듈을 장착할 수 있으며, 기뢰와 같은 위협을 제거하기 위한 무기 모듈 탑재도 가능하다. 방송은 이를 두고 "외부 소프트웨어 지원이나 인간의 조종 없이 스스로 판단하는 '두뇌'를 가진 자율주행 수중 로봇"이라고 평가했다. 또한 이번 전시회에는 중국 인민해방군이 널리 운용하고 있는 전술 로봇 개와 로봇 늑대도 함께 전시되었다.

China is testing a prototype nuclear reactor that can be carried on a truck and generate up to 10 megawatts of energy, enough to power a medium-sized AI data centre, a leading scientist said.
