15 ansatte i Kriminalomsorgen anmeldt for mistanke om bestikkelser

Kriminalvården har anmeldt 15 ansatte til påtalemyndigheten etter at de mottok gaver fra en konsulentlege. Gavene inkluderte hotellopphold og julebord.

Etaten anmeldte de ansatte ved fengslene i Nyköping, Sala, Västerås og Uppsala til den nasjonale enheten mot korrupsjon (Riksenhet mot korruption). Anmeldelsen fulgte etter en intern granskning i løpet av våren. Tolv ansatte ble i januar invitert på middag og overnatting ved Steam Hotel i Västerås. En konsulentlege betalte for arrangementet og hadde flere kontrakter med Kriminalvården. Gaven ble verdsatt til mellom 995 og 4 682 kroner per person. Tre ansatte ved varetektsfengselet i Uppsala ble også invitert på julebord i desember. Konsulentlegen ble politianmeldt etter at kontrakten var avsluttet. HR-direktør Anders Liif beskrev hendelsene som alvorlige.
