15 ansatte i Kriminalvården anmeldt for mistanke om bestikkelse

Kriminalvården har anmeldt 15 medarbejdere til anklagemyndigheden, efter at de har modtaget gaver fra en konsulentlæge. Gaverne omfattede blandt andet hotelophold og en julebuffet.

Myndigheden anmeldte personalet ved fængslerne i Nyköping, Sala, Västerås og Uppsala til den nationale enhed mod korruption. Anmeldelsen fulgte efter en intern undersøgelse i løbet af foråret. Tolv medarbejdere blev i januar inviteret til middag og overnatning på Steam Hotel i Västerås. En konsulentlæge betalte for arrangementet og havde flere kontrakter med Kriminalvården. Gaven blev vurderet til en værdi af mellem 995 og 4.682 kroner pr. person. Tre ansatte ved arresthuset i Uppsala blev desuden inviteret til en julebuffet i december. Konsulentlægen blev politianmeldt, efter at kontrakten var udløbet. HR-direktør Anders Liif beskrev hændelserne som alvorlige.
