Første resultater fra flyttede eiketrær i Ultuna

Over 170 eiketrær ble flyttet i Ultuna høsten 2025 for å gi plass til den planlagte trikkelinjen. Forskere ved Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet presenterer nå de første resultatene etter mer enn seks måneder.

Flyttingen fant sted i november 2025 til en kostnad på i overkant av 10 millioner kroner. Prosjektet ble valgt fremfor å felle trærne og plante nye.

Tolv av eiketrærne ble utstyrt med måleinstrumenter som registrerer stammevekst, lysopptak i kronen samt temperatur og fuktighet. Målingene fortsetter utover våren og sommeren.
