The Superior Electoral Court postponed on Tuesday the analysis of the decision that suspended the release of an AtlasIntel poll on voting intentions for Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. After the vote of President Kassio Nunes Marques, Minister Estela Aranha requested more time to review the case.
The TSE adjourned the analysis of the preliminary decision by Kassio Nunes Marques that barred AtlasIntel from releasing the poll. The survey, released on May 19, showed a drop in Flávio Bolsonaro's voting intentions from 47.8% to 41.8%.The poll interviewed 5,032 people between May 13 and 18. Kassio stated that the questionnaire included an audio of Flávio with banker Daniel Vorcaro at the end, which could induce responses on image and voting intention.PL lawyer Maria Claudia Bucchianeri argued that the questionnaire had a “fatal problem” by structuring questions to influence perception of the pre-candidate. AtlasIntel defended the scientific rigor of the method and said the audio was presented after the voting questions.Kassio ordered the institute to submit technical documentation within two days and requested a statement from the Electoral Public Ministry within one day. Until a new deliberation, the release remains suspended.
