Wonder to open new restaurant in Westport

Wonder, a multi-restaurant dining concept, plans to open a new location in Westport, Connecticut, next week. The venue will offer foods from more than two dozen different restaurants at one site. This expansion adds to the chain's growing presence in the region.

Wonder is set to launch its latest outpost in Westport, Connecticut, at 1300 Post Road East, with a grand opening scheduled for March 5. The company, known for combining offerings from multiple eateries into a single dining experience, already operates locations in nearby Stamford, Fairfield, and Milford. It is also expanding to Newington in Connecticut, alongside sites in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and other East Coast states.

According to Wonder's website, “We’re on a mission to make great food more accessible. We started Wonder with the belief that a remarkable dining experience should be readily available to anyone who wants one.” The concept features dishes from renowned chefs and restaurants, including Limesalt for Mexican cuisine, Tejas Barbecue for BBQ, Fred's Meat & Bread for sandwiches, Yasas by Michael Symon for Mediterranean fare, and Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson for fried chicken. Other options include Burger Baby hamburgers, Wing Trip chicken wings, Alanza Pizza, Room for Dessert, Detroit Brick Pizza Co., Bobby Flay Steak, Royal Greens salads and bowls, Hanu Poke, The Mainstay by Marc Murphy for comfort food, Di Fara Pizza, Walnut Lane New American, Maydan Middle Eastern, and Bellies kids menu.

Wonder operates as a food app and dining platform with over 100 locations across New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, and now Massachusetts. It allows customers to order from multiple restaurants in one go, with options for free delivery, pickup, or dine-in. The company handles everything from food development to kitchen operations, collaborating with chefs like Bobby Flay, José Andrés, and Marcus Samuelsson, as well as award-winning spots like Tejas Barbecue and Di Fara Pizza.
