Acting prime minister inaugurates granite factory in Asosa

Acting Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has inaugurated a newly built granite factory in Asosa town, Benishangul Gumuz region. The factory entered operation ahead of schedule with special attention to the national livestock sector. He stated efforts aim to utilize the region's livestock resources and noted a gold discovery to boost the economy.

On Miyazya 20, 2018 EC, Acting Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh inaugurated the granite factory in Asosa town, Benishangul Gumuz Regional State.

The facility's construction accelerated with dedicated focus on the national livestock sector, entering production ahead of its planned timeline by several months. During the event, Temesgen Tiruneh stated that initiatives seek to convert the region's livestock assets into economic value and create new revenue streams for the national economy, highlighting a gold discovery.

Regional President Ashadli Hasan, Livestock Minister Habtamu Tegen, and senior federal and regional officials attended the inauguration.
